Ever since I was a kid I have always loved to read, it didn't matter what type of book it was I would just read it. My passion for reading never died and I still read all the time and I have a real weakness for buying books, my collection is really starting to grow. Due to my love of reading I decided I wanted to studying more about literature in high school. I decided to take my love of reading to University and studied English Literature and English Language & Communication. After 4 long years of hard work and dedication, I am now the proud owner of a BA (Hons) degree (receiving a 2:1). I have always loved analysing books and searching for the deeper, hidden meanings that the authors want us to find and enjoy. As well as being very passionate for books, I also have a love for movies, especially movies that originated from classic books, modern fiction and thrillers. One thing that I always enjoyed doing was comparing the book with the movie and seeing how the director/producer decided to take the story and how that fit in with the original book. A lot of the time I am always left impressed and enjoyed what new spin they had put on one of my beloved stories. However, there are many times where I am left disappointed and questioned whether or not the author would have approved of such changes or additions to their piece of work. I will always argue that the books will always be better than the movies, however I do have fun watching the adaptations.
